Recent studies have shown that in the areas of depression, anxiety and weight loss Hypnotherapy outperforms cognitive therapies nearly every time. It is fast, it is cheap in comparison to months of therapy and it is successful. According to the National Institute of Health, it is a growing field gaining ground at every turn to such an extent, those practicing cognitive therapies are being advised to add hypnosis to their sessions. In my experience there are things a person needs to talk about, it is very common after an hypnosis session for my clients to discuss something that came up during the trance state that they were not aware was having such an impact on their feelings, choices and life in general. The efficacy of hypnosis is finally getting an airing due to a long overdue study and comparison to other therapies and so far, it is looking like a very efficient option.

Downloadable hypnosis only have one drawback they don’t allow for your personal experience or situation, without a consultation you do need to know what you need to change for it to be effective. On the upside they are very affordable and if you are clear about your goal not just the problem, you can create an effective program and you can start today.
Selecting 2-5 downloads will definitely cover the bases. Think first of what you want to achieve, do you want more confidence, do you want to be slimmer, do you want to be happier, or communicate easier. Working back from there it is easier to know what prevents you from doing so. This means you can target problem areas. If you find you are struggling with what causes a block or prevents forward motion no matter how much you focus on it, using the Three Gates will give you a clear starting point and may be all you need. Sometimes problems don’t arise from where we think they do.
As an example, I am often asked to hypnotize for Confidence, this only works if you know why you aren’t confident and we deal with that first. Anxiety may appear to be a lack of confidence, once it is eliminated or reduced the client feels more confident by default. Try to think opposites in some cases. Wanting to lose weight could also come under sleep issues, choosing a weight loss session, anxiety and sleep hypnosis could resolve the issue permanently. (there is a lot or data suggesting sleep issues can cause a person to eat more). If you find yourself making decisions for life improvements but then actively working against those decisions, the Three gates will give you an opportunity to reveal an underlying issue. Get it right and you get results.
